Haarlem Oogst (Haarlem Harvest) is a local workshop festival including two harvest celebration feasts
We harvest and cook with (forgotten) vegetables, we sing songs from various cultures, we improvise and make our own recipe for a contempary harvest celebration with a biological meal.
From half September to half October 2018 you can harvest and sing on a number of Saturdays and Sundays. Each workshop day includes a meal, lunch or tasting. You can sign up for one or more workshops.
Workshops: fermenting vegetables, singing Bulgarian harvest songs, vocal improvisation, cooking with biological vegetables, making carrot flutes, body percussion, singing Rozemarijn (an old Flemish song) and preparing a Syrian lunch.
Workshop prices vary between 2.50 and 12.50 (depending on age and on whether you are in possession of a HaarlemPas). The prices of the two harvest celebration feasts including meal vary between 7.50 and 17.50.
